The KA24DE is the factory 2.4-liter naturally aspirated inline-four engine in the US-market Nissan 240sx S13 and S14. While often swapped out for the SR20DET in drift builds, the KA24DE is a popular budget drift base due to its strong low-end torque, robust bottom end, and availability. Turbo KA builds ('KA-T') are a cost-effective alternative to the SR swap.
